Solomon Halim State Farm Insurance Agency Inc. has been serving the Lincoln area and across Nebraska since 1990. With two licensed assistants, we have over 38 years of combined experience supporting our customers’ needs through all the celebrations and stages of their lives.

We enjoy watching families form, children be born and grow up, businesses started, cars and homes be bought and sold, and families comforted and sustained during end-of-life passages. From life policies for all ages to our infamous ‘new driver interview’, from home policies for first to seasoned home buyers and investors, health policies in all shapes and sizes, to business owner policies for a wide variety of entrepreneurs, we’ve got you covered!

Our customers feel like part of our family and we look forward to catching up on their lives as they come in to make payments or just shoot the breeze.

Born in Indonesia, I came to San Francisco in the mid-70’s to finish high school then trekked halfway across the country, on the recommendation of a friend, to attend UNL. After graduating with a bachelor’s in construction management, I was offered a job at a local car dealership where I worked for seven years. During that time I was approached several times by various insurance companies asking me to consider a career change. I was impressed with the support State Farm provided their agents and joined the team in 1990.

I have enjoyed being part of the College View community for more than 45 years, participating in neighborhood, church and business activities. My wife, Ann, and I have two married daughters in Lincoln and cherish spending time with our grandchildren. We enjoy travel, exploring the US as well as overseas. I collect world coins and enjoy learning about a wide variety of coins.

Being a State Farm agent has given me an amazing opportunity to associate with colleagues, customers and friends, providing assistance in the important decisions of insuring property, lives and health.
